a) It was because of a comment you made on someone elses journal. Despite not being able to remember what the comment was, and on whose journal, it convinced me that I wanted to be hearing all about you.
b) SCIENCE! While I am surrounded by an aweful lot of very clever people, it is rare for what someone does to go so completely over my head as to be unable to follow even slightly. I am incredibly impressed with anyone who can get their head round such things, and especially doing it in such a way as to be doing such direct good. You are very clever.
c) You have a wicked and slightly oddball sense of humour. It is always great fun interacting with you; whether in person, on phone, or IM. I have my preferences of course.
d) Usage as an aid to warmth. I quite enjoyed myself.
e) What are your post-doctoral plans? (Totally not all self interest here).
f) Your default pic, because it takes quite a while to realise its not a cleavage rodent. :)

I'm currently thinking I want a job of some sort (probably not academic, I need more structure) and to move somewhere that is Not-York. York is lovely but I've been here A Very Long Time and want to shift somewhere else, preferably somewhere with cool people to hang out with.
