Ok. So a project I'm considering. Pointless, and probably costly. Also, I'll probably get bored and wander off.

I I saw this figure in Forbidden Planet:


So I thought, lose the silly spinny weapon things.


Lose all the zips and hangy bits


Get me some paint...


Can you tell who he is yet? Off course either the hair or face is wrong.


Idea's for scale effect? Somehow I don't think Ophid make-up tricks will work here...


No idea how I'd attach a flaming necklace too it.


Its probably highly dissrespectful to whichever characters figure I'm planning to mutilate, but I actually envisioned Hiat as being more butch than this (not by much mind).

Teeny tiny mesh and spray irridecent paint would give a fairly convincing scale effect (two colours, one darker, one lighter the lighter offset on the darker slightly) With some very tiny shadow scale detailing under the eyes and around nose etc. But that is probably the way to do it.
